This scene is from a photo I took many years ago, of the old mining town of Virginia City, NV.
Silver was discovered in 1859 and the mines stopped producing in the 1880's.
Today it's a tourist attration, with many of the old Victorian buildings remaining, with many
of the old saloons still funtioning on the maun street.
